Gettings started with AI translation integration

Before you start

You must have the following to complete this setup:

  • OpenAI account with API key.

Prerequisites

You must have access to a Uniform team with the ability to create new projects. If you are an active customer or a partner, please get in touch with your Uniform team administrator colleague and ask for an invite.

If you are not sure or your company does not have a Uniform team, you can request a sandbox here.

Add integration#

  1. In Uniform, open your project.

  2. Navigate to Settings > Integrations.

  3. Scroll to the section Browse integrations.

  4. Click AI translation.

  5. Click Add to project.

    Once the integration is added you'll be prompted to enter some settings.

  6. Enter the required fields:

    FieldComments
    OrganizationYour OpenAI organization ID.
    API keyYour OpenAI API key.
    TMS Open AI modelOptionally, you can change the Open AI model to be used for translation.
    TMS PromptOptionally, you can adjust the prompt to be used for translation.

  7. Click Save and Test to verify the integration settings.
